My first time in Hong Kong and I decided to take a cooking class. I found Easy 123 Dining and Cooking Studio on the internet. It was very easy to book online. The cost was reasonable so I thought I would try my hand at making Dim Sum. The class was small only 5 of us ( my husband included) The class was taught in Chinese however we had a young man trying to translate. You are given instructions in Chinese and English. The Chef demonstrates 3 types of dim sum , shrimp dumplings, Sweet Penguins and Spring rolls shaped as squid. After each demonstration you go back to your table and try and recreate each item 3 times. Once you are done, the chef and his assistants cook/steam the dim sum and set a table for you to eat your creations along with some other dishes to try! It was an interesting class and a great way to learn the culture.
