I’ve been fascinated with cooking since the age of 9.  My first class was a Wilton cake decorating class at the age of 10. The instructor was hesitant to let me in the class but my mom persuaded her to let me try. The instructor tested me on simple piping techniques and realized I could easily do them.  At the age of 11 I was making wedding cakes, they were very simple nothing complicated just lots of shell borders and roses. I continued my love of baking and cooking as I grew up. Finally, in my mid- forties I decided when I traveled around the world I wanted to experience the cultures by learning to cook regional cuisine. So these are my adventures with a spatula and passport.

Me at the “Cordon Bleu-Paris, France”
